Megan and Kyle Blankenbiller
This Summer has been plagued with rainfall after rainfall. This past Saturday, that was not the case. What an amazing day we had shooting Megan and Kyle’s wedding at the wonderful Columbia Station in Phoenixville. You could not have asked for better weather, and I could not have asked for a better couple. This celebration of love was exactly what the doctor ordered. I had so much fun spending the day with these two. Check out their highlights trailer.
I’ve been shooting weddings for so many years, and I’ve heard so many toasts/speeches from the best man/maid of honor! Something about the end of the best man’s toast brought me to what the true meaning of friendship is. Such a small moment of time, yet such a meaningful few words to end this speech. Bravo.
Like I said earlier, this wedding was in the booming metropolis of Phoenixville. Yes, the same Phoenixville that “The Blob” featured way back in 1958. I know, I know why is this bogger writing about “The Blob,” or anything Hollywood for that matter? Well, another Hollywood hit was “Deliverance,” and had we finished the bouquet and garter the traditional way, the dueling banjoes may have had a part. All kidding aside, it was a smart move to not have two cousins place and or remove the garter. Still quite the story to tell down the road.
Again, this was such a fantastic time. Kyle and Megan are sure to have such a long future together, and I am personally glad that I had the opportunity to share in the start of that future. Congratulations.
