Hoover Wedding

What started as a wet and dreary day weather wise, dramatically changed in the blink of an eye. It’s been said that rain on your wedding day is good luck, so I’m guessing that Diane and Roger are in for a long life of luck and happiness. Take a look at some highlights from what really was an amazing day.

It happens at every wedding, and I’d love to know who makes that crucial decision to be the first to clap and celebrate the loving couple? Watching this little clip may invoke the same thought. Maybe not. Regardless it’s always so nice to see people/guests care so immensely for this amazing couple.

Having originated in the 1920’s, the “Worm” became a much bigger hit in the 70’s at punk rock shows. I as a videographer did not know that the roots went back as far as my own grandparents. This young guest surely made his best effort. Thoughts?

Speaking of the 70’s, Chicago was at the top of the charts with their hit “25 or 6 to 4,” which Brass Pocket executed spectacularly. I love working with live bands at weddings, because it allows me to break up the dance floor and give some love to the hard working vocalists and instrumentalists. They truly were a great addition to an already awesome wedding.

Roger and Diane were so much fun to be around, and there were so many elements that made their special day perfect. Many thanks to the Heidelberg Country Club for their hospitality, and I’d be remiss if I didn’t say how awesome it was to work with Jenn and Amy as the photographers. They were vital in making this day amazing. Congratulations Roger and Diane, may your lives together be nothing but amazing.
