What can I say about Dan and Melissa’s wedding day. A few words come to mind, one being “hot,” as the temperature was definitely reaching into the 90’s at the “Union League Golf Club at Torresdale.” The other word that comes to mind to describe the day, is “perfect.” What a perfect day Dan and Melissa had for their wedding. Over the years I’ve shot countless “first looks,” and this was the first where I’ve seen a groom just be beside himself with how much in love he was with his bride. Such an awesome moment, and if you watch Dan and Melissa’s highlight trailer, you’ll see exactly what I mean with their “first look.”
We’ve been to many venues in and around Philadelphia, but wow did Torresdale have some amazing spots for photos. Golf courses always tend to be picturesque as it is, but we really lucked out with a beautiful sky and such amazing sightlines. Laura Caporizzo and her assistant Tiffany were such wonderful photographers to work with. I’d bet they captured some magical moments just like I did. Check out these quick Instagram highlights of Dan and Melissa’s photoshoot.
When the reception kicks off with a short 2-3 song dance set following introductions, and the dance floor is hopping you know it’s going to be a good night. Unfortunately for Jeff from Rhythmix Entertainment, there was a pesky thing called dinner. Had it not been for dinner, that dance floor would have gone from start to finish. Here’s a little sample of what the dance floor looked like.
From the first dance set, to the last, that floor was full the whole night. It’s amazing what a few great songs will do to a crowd that just wants to party. If only that pesky thing called dinner hadn’t gotten in the way, I can guarantee very few would have been sitting. @rythmixent #phillywedding #weddingvideo #weddingvideographer #bride #groom #wedding #reception
All in all a wonderful day spent with Dan and Melissa. I still can’t get the look on Dan’s face out of my head, from when he turned and saw his bride for the first time. So thankful to have been able to capture that. Congratulations Dan and Melissa.
