Lindsey and Scott say Shirley “I Do”
Oh what can I say about this wedding? Honestly there are not enough adjectives to describe how much I really enjoyed spending the day with Scott and Lindsay, check that…..their whole family. From the moment I walked into the bridal suite at the wonderful Shawnee Inn, I felt like such an important part of their wedding day. What a wonderful couple Scott and Lindsay are, and their highlight trailer unfortunately can only capture in 2D what I got to see in person. Take a look at how awesome this couple really is.
Alright, now that you’ve seen just some of how awesome this couple really is, now take a look at how amazing of a voice Lindsey has. I mean when I walked into the bridal suite I heard Lindsey breaking out the likes of “Let It Go,” and “Hakuna Matata,” okay I can’t back that up, but never in all my years did I think I’d see a bride capture the essence of the wonderful Etta James. Please give this a listen and tell me you don’t have chills up and down your spine.
I’ve been doing weddings for quite a number of years, and a growing trend in the parent dances is for a “surprise the crowd” moment. This moment took the cake. Take a look!!!
I gotta give out one last shout out to DJ Johnny A from Eclipse Entertainment, as he was by far one of the most entertaining DJ’s I’ve ever worked with. There was not one moment where the guests ever sat down, other than to take a breather from partying so hard. This was such an amazing wedding to be a part of, and although it’s very early in the wedding season, this one will be tough to top on my top weddings of the year. Congratulations Scott and Lindsey.
