There’s No Cure for Love Except to Marry a Gallagher
I’ve been told it’s lucky for the bride and groom to have rain on their wedding day, and that we did. But an old Irish wedding superstition says that it’s lucky to tear your wedding dress accidentally on your wedding day. I didn’t see that happen, but I don’t think John and Siobhan have anything to worry about. What a wonderful couple I had the pleasure of spending the day with to start the month of July. It’s been a while since I had that much fun. The day got started pretty early, and minus one dirty look from one of the bridesmaids, I will say it was a great morning that only got better as the day went on.
John and Siobhan’s wedding was most definitely a family and faith filled event. It was apparent from the first look down the aisle that John is madly in love with Siobhan. Take a look at these highlights, as the Indian Valley Country Club played an integral part in making this event that much more spectacular
There wouldn’t be a reception without entertainment, and John and Siobhan had none other than “Irish America’s Favorite Son” playing for the masses at their reception. Andy Cooney and his band brought out the dancing shoes for many. Earlier in the day when I met John’s brother, I said “I’m hoping you guys like to dance.” The response I got was “we like t party.” Combined with the music provided, the dance floor was needless to say an energy filled place many wanted to be on.
Every reception we shoot has one moment that always brings out a little giggle. During one of the toasts, the little voice of a child made for one of my favorite moments of the day.
Overall this wedding was one for the ages. I’m so thankful I was able to spend the day with John and Siobhan as they start their magical journey of marriage. Congratulations John and Siobhan.
