What a great day for Jenny and Joel at the GoggleWorks in Reading, Pennsylvania. A great time was had by everyone. Experience their wonderful day here in this highlight trailer below:
Jenny’s father, Paul, suffered a debilitating stroke last year that confined him to a wheelchair. He was not going to be able to walk with his daughter down the aisle on her wedding day. The ManorCare in Laureldale, Pennsylvania where he resides, outfitted him with a special wheelchair a month before the wedding that would allow him to wheel himself down aisle with his left hand since he can’t use his right one. This was so important to Paul as you can see when he became emotional when he first saw his daughter on the wedding day. He practiced and trained the whole month to work to be able to do this. He courageously wheeled himself about 250 feet all by himself with his daughter. The family wishes to thank all of the staff at ManorCare for their wonderful support. See this moving video below:
R2D2 made a surprise visit at the wedding and was a huge hit (R2D2 courtesy of Martin Miller Photographry. Even Joel’s grandmother enjoyed as you can see here she raced the droid in her wheelchair – see the winner in the video below:
It was a great wedding and I was honored to be their wedding videographer for the day!
