Erin and Kyle #HalterToTheAltar

Imagine this….it’s Father’s Day weekend, and you’re spending your Saturday on or around a golf course…….are you –    (A:)  At the Us Open, or (B:) spending the day at a fabulous place like Mountain Valley, shooting a wedding?  In this case the answer is most definitely B.  And to be quite honest I wouldn’t have it any other way.  First and foremost, I love shooting at Mountain Valley, but it’s definitely an extra blessing when you have a fun couple like Kyle and Erin to spend the day with.  You couldn’t have asked for better weather for a wedding, and with the backdrop being so amazing, this wedding climbs up the “awesome scale” real quick.  Take a look at some highlights of the day.

I’ve gotta say that Kyle and Erin chose a spectacular photographer to capture their day.  Soul Focus Media setup some amazing photo opportunities for me to capture, and Tracey was so awesome to work with.  It really does make a wedding shoot that much easier when you get along with whom you are working.  Take a look at some of the sight lines and photo ops Mountain Valley presents.

From the moment I walked into the bridal suite, I knew I was in for a good time.  However, there is one rule on every wedding day, and that is “It’s always the brides day!” No if’s, and’s or but’s.  The great Tiara Caper was in full effect, and only Sherlock Holmes could find where the grooms mother’s tiara could be found.  Take a look where it was hidden.

All in all this was a great wedding.  I as a shooter was coming off 22 straight days of work, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way than to end that string of works days with this awesome wedding.  Congrats to Erin and Kyle.  Your story is just beginning.
